The Detroit Area Marines Foundation is proud to announce a $5100 donation to the Transcend Foundation, an organization dedicated to treating veterans and first responders holistically. Established in 2022, the Transcend Foundation focuses on addressing the physical and mental health challenges faced by these brave individuals through innovative methods such as preventative medicine and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). This approach targets the root causes of symptoms associated with combat-related injuries, including PTSD and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and is designed to enhance healing and alleviate pain during recovery.
Our $5100 donation is estimated to provide approximately 18 veterans with a comprehensive blood panel and four veterans with a 3-5 month HRT protocol via Transcend Foundation.
Our President, Andre Salamy, Vice President, Daniel Marr, and Board Member, Rich Pointe presented the donation to Brendan Quisenberry, Executive Director of the Transcend Foundation. This partnership signifies a shared commitment to improving the lives of those who have served and protected our communities.
By supporting the Transcend Foundation, we aim to empower these heroes with the medical expertise and preventative care they deserve, ultimately facilitating their path to wellness and recovery. Together, we are working toward a future where the scars of service do not hinder the quality of life of our veterans and first responders.
