ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIP

AWARDING SPOUSES AND DEPENDENTS

The Detroit Area Marines Military Honor Scholarship was launched by Master Sergeant Mark Jenkins (USMC, Retired) in 2018 for the purpose of assisting a spouse or dependent of an active, reserve, or retired military member with college expenses. If awarded, our $500 scholarships may be used for any qualifying college or trade school expense and are typically distributed and presented to the winners at our annual golf outing in August.
