The mission of the Detroit Area Marines Foundation is to honor local veterans, support current service members and their families, and educate future generations of our military through community involvement, fundraisers, and events that promote military traditions. We're a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

FUNDRAISING & EVENTS
We fundraise through various events such as gun raffles, golf tournaments, and gala dinners with the aim to provide financial support and resources to veterans and other nonprofits.
SUPPORTING OTHER NONPROFITS
The Detroit Area Marines Foundation recently expanded our mission to include supporting other veteran-focused nonprofits that align with our mission and provide direct services.
MILITARY HONOR SCHOLARSHIPS
The DAM is proud to support the spouses and dependents of active, reserve, or retired military members. 2023 saw the most entries we've ever had and we are proud to have donated four $500 scholarships!

We strive to ensure that our support of military ceremonies and traditions provides inspiration to future generations of military members while honoring prior service and retired servicemembers.
